That’s why Great Lakes Window is proud to introduce the EuroGlide operating system, which lies exclusively within the precision frame of the elegant Premier Luxury Performance Door and allows for superior operational ease. When the sculpted handle is turned 180 degrees, the entry panel rises from the sill, enabling the door to be moved with a mere eight pounds of force – the push of one finger.

In the locked position, the entry panel rests on its dual bulb weather seal. And the designer handle, the focal point of the EuroGlide system, is available in three finishes.

Through a wide variety of glass styles with integral grids mounted between two panes of insulated glass, the Premier Luxury Performance Door makes cleaning easy. Grids are available in four styles, in addition to Regal V-groove glass options that give an elegant twist to the ordinary door.

For added security, another glass option is the laminated safety glass. This type of glass shields your home from intruders, unwanted sounds and the sun’s ultraviolet rays, which can be damaging to home furnishings. Plus, with the EuroGlideTM system’s multi-point locking design, the Premier Luxury Performance Door delivers two to three times the amount of security of standard sliding doors.

New to Great Lakes Window are Solar Blinds and Solar Shades, which are the ultimate in privacy and light control. Available in various colors, these blinds or shades are sealed inside the insulated glass unit preventing them from ever needing to be cleaned or dusted.

The Premier Luxury Performance Door has been certified by Window and Door Manufacturers’ Association and the National Fenestration Ratings Council for air, water, structural and energy performance. Third party certification of the product ensures a draft free, energy- efficient product.
