Jeff Klein, President: Great Lakes Window was proud to appoint Jeff as president of the company in December of 2005. With 15 years of strategic and operating management experience – including service as president of the western window market for Ply Gem Industries and general manager for a major window manufacturer – Jeff firmly believes that exceptional customer service is the key to success for Great Lakes Window. Today, Jeff leads multi-layered corporate initiatives aimed at furthering strategic partnerships with suppliers, driving corporate projects to increase profits, and enhancing product quality. Additionally, he is committed to improving the level of service that Great Lakes Window provides to its nationwide customer base.

Greg Irving, Vice President/General Manager: As the new vice president/general manager, Greg is ideally suited to lead Great Lakes Window customer and quality initiatives, sales management, operating processes and safety procedures. Throughout his more than 30 years in the window and building products industry, Greg has achieved significant revenue growth and demonstrated exceptional leadership skills. Based at the company’s headquarters outside of Toledo, Ohio, Greg is committed to helping Great Lakes Window expand and grow.

Ralph Pfeiffer, Director – Marketing: With a history of steadily increasing responsibility through 20 years of career experience with several national window manufacturers, Ralph establishes and implements brand strategies and oversees the development of marketing support materials for Great Lakes Window. He manages marketing efforts by securing strong communication ties with the company’s customer base as well as within Great Lakes Window itself.

John Walsh, Product Manager: Prior to joining the Great Lakes Window team, John gained 15 years of work experience for nationally-known companies from the building materials industry making him an expert in the research, design, development and testing of manufactured window and door products. When he started with Great Lakes Window in 2001, John oversaw the research and development of new products and the enhancement of the existing lines. Today he has a hand in developing and implementing plans for product development and the launch of new programs at Great Lakes Window and serves on the technical review board for the Window and Door Manufacturers’ Association.

Jim Smercina, Plant Manager: With extensive experience in plant operations, mechanical engineering and other broad-based competencies, Jim joined the ranks at Great Lakes Window in January of 2006. He most recently served as plant manager for a global automotive supplier, where he established a reputation for being an adaptive and innovative leader. At Great Lakes Window, Jim is responsible for overseeing manufacturing efficiencies and processes as well as facility maintenance.
