Ralph Pfeiffer, Director – Marketing: With a history of steadily increasing responsibility through 20 years of combined career experience at several national window manufacturers, Ralph establishes and implements brand strategies and oversees the development of marketing support materials for Great Lakes Window. He manages marketing efforts by securing strong communication ties with the company’s customer base as well as within Great Lakes Window itself. John Walsh, Product Manager: Prior to joining the Great Lakes Window team, John gained 15 years of work experience for nationally-known companies from the building materials’ industry making him an expert in the research, design, development and testing of manufactured window and door products. When he started with Great Lakes Window in 2001, John oversaw the research and development of new products and the enhancement of the existing lines. Today he has a hand in developing and implementing plans for product development and the launch of new programs at Great Lakes Window and serves on the technical review board for the Window and Door Manufacturers’ Association. Jim Smercina, Plant Manager: With extensive experience in plant operations, mechanical engineering and other broad-based competencies, Jim joined the ranks at Great Lakes Window in January of 2006. He most recently served as plant manager a global automotive supplier, where he established a reputation for being an adaptive and innovative leader. At Great Lakes Window, Jim is responsible for overseeing manufacturing fundamentals and facilities maintenance.
