Great Lakes Window® Provides Dealers with Innovative New Selling Tool

TOLEDO, OH, 2005 – Going one step further in marketing support, Great Lakes Window is pleased to announce the availability of a direct mail program to help dealers and distributors reach out to homeowners in specific markets.

By logging onto brand specific Web sites, dealers of the UniFrame®, PlyGem Lifestyles™, GrandView™ and Seabrooke™ lines now have the opportunity to easily complete direct mailings to explain who they are and how their Great Lakes Window product(s) can increase a home’s appearance and value.

“This innovative new program is a departure from the conventional selling styles that dealers have traditionally used to attract replacement window business,” said Ralph Pfeiffer, director – marketing for Great Lakes Window. “Instead, they draw homeowners in by appealing to intrinsic values such as beauty, comfort and security.

“Small business owners and dealers don’t always have the resources necessary to produce direct mail programs. This new program provides them with an easy and inexpensive way to branch out in the community, make a name for themselves and generate new and qualified leads.”

Dealers and distributors have the option to choose from various message points that accompany existing graphic elements designed to appeal to homeowners. In addition, each card can be used as part of a series to help recipients begin to recognize and associate a positive image with the featured brand.

The front of each postcard displays images and catch phrases, such as “a whole new view,” that suggest why replacement windows are needed. The back of each card contains a short paragraph describing the various benefits of replacement windows and allows additional space for the dealer to personalize the message, describing how long they’ve been in business or perhaps their dedication to customer service. A place for the dealer’s logo and a special offer also has been reserved.

“We feel privileged to have such an incredible and dedicated network of dealers and distributors that extend the benefits of our products to homeowners,” Pfeiffer notes.

“This direct mail program is just one more way that Great Lakes Window provides enhanced marketing and sales support to its partners.”
